I bought a bean to cup coffee machine as I got fed up with Asda (the cheapest source ot my Tassimo pods of choice) being out of stock. Bean to cup machines aren't cheap.

On Amazon You can get descaler tablets dirt cheap (150 for £13.47).
On Amazon this is the Amazon Choice pack for the manufacturers tablets...

£12.99 for 3 tablets

Further down the page and not Amazon' choice

£12.78 for 10 tablets but they take an age to come

The ones I actually bought and now showing as Amazon's Choice too but I don't think they were...

£12.99 for 10 tablets ordered Sunday, due tomorrow but just delivered.

Of course they are all probably the same as the 150 for £13.47 but as this is a hard water area and the instructions say failing to de-calc will damage the machine I decided to go with the manufacturers.

Alex

Tube of Steradent would be cheaper  :halo:

Lots of things would be but could it bugger the machine?

Alex

Possibly, my friend bought a bean to cup from AMAZON, a Cuisinart I think it was, she says it's great.

If you like coffe thet are good. The macines are dear but they'd pay for themselves in a few weeks at StarBucks prices.
