Some Americans seem to think they are all African Americans. Including those living anywhere in the world. These are the same Americans that criticise our slang term for cigarettes on the grounds of non inclusivity.

They often appear on Quora. It's possible that they are trolling rather than just being complete dipsticks. They are also often the same ones who are certain that their second amendment rights entitle them to bring their AR15s here for self defence. The usual reply is that they are of course correct and recommend putting one in each their suitcases.

I'm voting for the UK Islamic Sharia Law Party.  Might increase my life expectancy if I show the willingness to kowtow and accept the inexorable.

Since black isn't on the spectrum of light, perhaps we should refer to it as such.  Thus we could refer to certain people of a particular hue as "non-reflective and off the spectrum".

That should keep the peace.

I fervently hope that the next funeral which I attend will be my own.

Quote from: Vlad on Today at 03:10:05 PMNothing will change no matter who is elected
Can't argue with that but..
Quote from: Vlad on Today at 03:10:05 PMSo absolutely no point in voting.
Does not follow.
If you fail to vote you have no right to criticise the outcome of the election which will surely be a further decline in this once proud land.

If your choice wins and forms a government which will obviously prove useless then you can both complain and remove them from your list of those you will vote for ever again.

If your choice loses then you can have the nice warm feeling of not being responsible and having made an effort to avert the inevitable mess that follows.

Admittedly this means that eventually you will never vote Labour nor Conservative as they are the only parties that get elected. Of course the LibDems did enter into a coalition but that was a bit of a disaster for them as was alienating over half the electorate in a later one.

No sir it is your democratic right to vote and I would go so far as to say your duty too. Despite the utter futility of doing so.

The offers came from far and wide
His profile showed a picture of George Clooney
When in fact he was more like Wayne Rooney
