I'm off out today to buy some 'Holiday knickers'..
The rest of the year I just buy knickers... So why , when I am off on holiday, I have to say ' Holiday Knickers'...
My grandchildren have started saying it...
I've never heard that one before Scrumpy! :yahoo: :yahoo:
What I can't figure out is why a holiday means new knickers. [2040]
I've never heard of holiday knickers either :yahoo:
Ah. That sort of holiday then.
My mum used to clean the gas cooker often.. but just before Christmas she gave it an extra special clean..
She used to say ' That's the ChristmasCooker all done.. ready for Christmas'..
I think of her when I just wipe mine over..
It may have been wiser to give it the big clean after Christmas.
Still we needn't bother this year. I'm confident that I'll be reading that Christamas has been cancelled for this year any time soon....
My old Dad used to like his holiday knickers.
