The animals are not bothered about fireworks, they don't seem to notice them.

Just heard that Whitty and Valance have been knighted. Joanna Lumley has been made a dame. I dont disagree with those and some of the sports and public service awards

The word Honour seems less appropriate.
I read that that particular honour is in the gift of the Queen and the previous recipient was the Grey Man himself Major with most being ex-PMs.
