Government workers are being encouraged to work from home to save money on office running costs and improve quality of life, A Home Office leak has now revealed that asylum claims are being assessed by workers sat in their 2nd homes........ In Pakistan.

It's not April Fools Day, but tbh nothing would surprise me about this shower.

Absolutely amazing.
I thought the government was incapable, but the civil service has outdone them now.

You need to watch the old Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister documentary series.

I'd love to see that report.

Diasi's link is to an entry clearance job. That has nothing to do with asylum claims.  If we wanted to work in the USA we'd need a visa, from the US embassy here I believe.  Same thing.

Take your pick of countries if you want to work abroad for the government.

There are asylum processing jobs in Sheffield, Stoke, Newcastle, Croydon. Asylum seekers are interviewed in person, in the country they have entered.

Amazing!  Unbelievable!

I assume that our glorious leaders are not content with inviting in as much of the third world as they can, and so now also pay third world countries to do the jobs, 'working from home', that our own people won't do.
