Am I right in thinking Lancaster House is the home of the Foreign Office ?   I hope I've got that wrong really as it seems Lancaster House is the latest place to ring out to the sound of wailing tom cats - where next -  Buckingham Palace maybe ? Charlie would give the go ahead I'm sure

it's managed by the FCO, but isn't their base - it is, as far as can remember, a sort of super conference centre

OIC that means a gaggle of imams could have rented it just for the call to prayer.

of course, it could be seen as lending new emphasis to the 'Foreign' part of the title 'Foreign and Commonwealth Office'

Yesterday it was Shakespeare's Globe theatre
