I have the Mail and Mirror delivered..
 
The mirror tells us how bad the Conservatives are running the country.. and what they would do... It's like a comic.. I do like the crosswords though.. 
The Mail.. !!  I take it to bed with me.. the print does not come off on my fingers..
 I am not into politics much. There is little between them all at the moment..

The Guardian used to be called the Grauniad because of the huge volume of typos and spelling mistakes.

Thanks.  I've wondered about that when they mention it in Private Eye.

I used to subscribe to the Eye and it is full of things they invented over the years. The reason for many is lost in the mist of time. I did know how the Grauniad came by its name but does anybody know how Brenda came by hers? No doubt plenty won't even know who Brenda was of course.

Had to look it up.  Wiki states this:

Its use as a nickname for Queen Elizabeth II originated in Private Eye in reaction to a perceived attempt by the royals to appear less distant and upper class.
