who isn't either on strike, has struck. or is thinking about it? Doctors, nurses, ambulance crews, teachers, passport office, train drivers, Heathrow security staff, postal workers - not since the very worst days of the 70s has there been anything like it in my memory

I haven't heard of the Dole Office staff going on strike yet.  If and when that should happen, there will be riots!

Some civil servants were. As they are all working from home they had to travel in to London to picket empty government offices.
