Jobs..
Because ('it is a woman's job') I have put a post up about who should be doing certain jobs in and out of the home..
Perhaps those, brave enough, could tell us who should be doing what job..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Apparently it's the man's job to do anything for which blame can be apportioned.

I think it is a man's job to stick his hands in places women should not go..  eg; Toilets.. Drains..

Apart from the obvious succumbing to a man's every whim, a woman's job is to do all the unimportant things that men can't be bothered to do.

Well there's only lil' ol' Moi here so I have to do
everyfink Myself. :halo:

Sam (husband) , with cleaning cloth and spray in hand , came to me and very proudly said
' I have cleaned your bathroom'.    :nooo:

Don't know why he bothered because you're only going to go in there in a bit and do it properly.

Yes I'm sure our Scrumpy is very particular about her bathroom.

As I suppose I may have prompted this discussion, here are some of our duties:
Marge:
Cooking, putting the washing on, dusting and cleaning, making the bed, etc.
Me:
Putting the dishwasher on, fixing anything that's broken...
oh, I've just remembered that I have to replace two lamps along the steps up to our house - I must get on with that now.
Yes, anything 'technical' = my job.

There.  Job done, and I have tried to explain to Marge how to do this when I am dead.
(Women are not generally suited to this sort of work.)

I would start a "Handy Tips" thread but as thread starting has been declared women's work I'll just add one here. It's a biggy and saves loads and loads of time....

Most housework can be avoided by just not doing it.

It can indeed.
For example, allowing dust to accumulate on carpets provides a layer of insulation from cold in the cellar or underfloor area.

One of these is an excellent investment
