There seems to be a shortage of boxes of tissues in the supermarkets.  Yesterday I went in Lidl and Morrisons, no boxes only these little handbag packets.
OK, an unimportant issue you may think, but when this "cold" comes back for the third time I'll be up a creek without a paddle

p.s. Sainsburys out of stock too.

Long sleaves may be the answer?

GrannyMac

I've had some in my Sainsbury's delivery today.  Not the single cube I ordered, but a two pack of flatter boxes.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I use soft toilet roll indoors.. Tissues for going out..
Though I have pulled out of my pocket a strip of toilet paper by mistake.. It doesn't bother me..

I remember when toilet paper was smooth and shiny.. I think it was called Izal.. Horrible stuff.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I use soft kitchen roll as tissue. They have always done the job fine.

Your kitchen roll can't be much good at soaking up grease then

with regards to toilet tissues i suppose its possible to cut say a kitchen paper towel in half but what sort of knife could cut it.
that's if there is no other choice,

alternatively  bring back the (news of the world news paper ) which in the past hung on many a toilet wall,

Q; do you recall those times of the past,.
