Title: Princess of Wales
Post by: Alex on January 17, 2024, 02:29:14 PM
Kate is in hospital and has had a successful  "planned" abdominal operation.  She is to stay in hospital for up to 14 days.  No mention of what could be wrong, it seems a long hossie recovery time with all her engagements cancelled for 3 months.

Abortion?
She probably feels that this is not the time and the country in which to bring a child!
Perhaps even the Royals will emigrate eventually, if things continue to get worse.

Something serious I think, even a hysterectomy which is a major operation you're out in under a week.

Mind you it's the NHS that bungs you out quick and I doubt she's using that. Why would she?

Maybe she's transitioning operations and so when Charles dies, we'll have two kings on the throne.

I hope its nothing serious, as a young mother she needs her health.

Hysterectomy was my first thought. She won't get bunged out as they won't be needing the bed for one of the public. Herself will get to rest up and recover a bit before going home.

I imagine wealth can cut down on that need to a degree. Two weeks plus out for a working mother (which most are these days) would be a serious financial setback for many.

I know, but it depends how serious the condition is. I had quite a bit of time off in my thirties after surgery, non life threatening but knackering. I had full sick benefits through my employer, and a good husband who fed and watered the kids.

Private or not, it takes a brave person to stay in hospital nowadays where there is a greater risk of catching something particularly unpleasant.  And I'm not referring to a TV program involving Harry and Megan!!

Oh! to be in a position where you can 'pop in hospital next week' and get treatment an d treated properly..
We, on the other hand , find it hard to see our doctor.. Specialist.. GET A DATE that is carried out..

Good luck to them.. I certainly envy them..

Somehow I very much doubt that. One of them only has to sneeze and doctors are fussing round with thermometers and beechams.  :waiting:

I've always thought she had the look of a Thai ladyboy.

She's so blooming thin too, a size 6 I read somewhere, IMO that's far too thin. :nooo:  When I was a size 10 you could count my ribs and herself is 2 sizes smaller than that. I also think she's a bit taller than my 5ft 2in, she looks at least 5ft 6ins, and that makes it look worse.

She is too thin I agree, sideway view is bordering on anorexic

I was thinking more of her facial features.

There was TV documentary a couple of year ago that featured guys who had relationships with Thai ladyboys & one of the ladyboys was a dead ringer for her.

This is a very liberal forum Dexi, you post what you like.
There may be one or even two who will find it funny

I see lots of poor taste humour. Some I find amusing and some I don't. I wouldn't have posted that picture here but it was amusing to me. I doubt the Princess of Wales will see it here so no harm done imo.

Me too, Alex.

Poor Kate.   I happen to like her.
Yes, she has always looked beyond slim,  more thin,  but so what?
For all we know she might be desperately unhappy about  her figure and love to have more meat on her bones.
I say leave the poor girl be.

Alright, alright already.  Honestly, one tries to post something with a subliminal moral and ethical message embedded in a parodic image, and all one gets is statements of derision!!

I won't bother in future.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
