Title: Rita & Mavis
Post by: Alex on July 20, 2023, 06:41:47 PM
For anyone who watched Coronation Street in the days when it was funny, this lovely photo of Barbara Knox (Rita) and 94 year old Thelma Barlow (Mavis) taken at Tatton Park yesterday .   Rita had a flower named after her "Gracious Lady"  in honour of her 90th birthday.

Doing well for 90 and 94!

I went to a horticultural show at Tatton some years ago with my daughter in law, lovely there.

Lovely.
I never watch the current rubbish, which I believe lost the plot years ago.
We watch the classic (old) Coronation Street on ITV Hub, every weekday evening, in which they are still capable of producing interesting and often gripping storylines.
'Rita' is still going strong!
