I expect it could happen. When the wind don't blow we need gas to provide the electricity. Unfortunately in this country winter calms are also winter freezes.
We'll move in with one of the kids, they have log burners. Haven't told them yet... :yahoo:
I'll go for a bus ride as recommended. The X buses are nice long rides with comfy leather seats and free wi-fi. Sadly no toilets though which may be an issue :downvote:

I think I'll get myself a decent powerbank. I already have a heated vest which I use for fishing. That way I can sit dressed up like an Eskimo Inuit tip tapping away on the tablet using WiFi from my phone telling you all how damned cold I am or just watching stuff I downloaded. If we get prior notifications I can even have a flask. I already have a wind up lantern so I'll get some exercise too. Almost looking forward to it. Almost.
