I have watched a couple  of episodes of this new series which started on Sunday..
I never thought a topic like this would capture my interest..
But it has..

Ah the new one is available from Zoony's after all. I had spelled heroes without the e. I can download all 6 parts. I'll take a look.

Watched 2 now. It's all very gung ho isn't it. I'd say it is very loosely based on what happened but who knows?

I had thought we were going to see a lot more of the second in command of French military intelligence but either I blinked or it was edited out. Hey ho. Probably for the best at my age.

But ... are you enjoying it.. ?

It's entertainment not a documentary.... So for the most part yes. Some gratuitous violence next would be good.

Watched the last two. Entertaining enough with a shovel of salt

It does say it is based on the truth.  Paul was in the military for 25 years and knew some SAS men so I asked him what he thought.  He thinks it is probably pretty true.

 I am enjoying it.. No-one expects it to be spot on .. They tell you that it is based (loosely) on the truth..
