I like Michael Portillo.. I watch some of his travels by train..
He seems to get on well with the people he meets and joins in when he can..
He isn't vain , which is a refreshing change from many of the 'celebrities' who travel around chatting with people..
Even his pink trousers are ok by me..
I'm a fan of his TV programmes, especially the railway ones.
