Quote from: muddy on Yesterday at 10:16:11 PMI have to say this girl was not obese she had a voluptuous figure and would have looked good in most stuff without making everyone a gynaecologist.
Perhaps she was in advertising. They always reckon it pays to advertise.

Quote from: Mups on Yesterday at 10:10:34 PMDo we need to unplug computers and radio's too, does anyone know?  :hmm:
A nearby lighting strike will probably destroy most things that are plugged in. Regardless of any surge protected sockets. It may even wreck your house. Having things plugged in will not make any difference to the chances of a lightning strike. Aerials might be worth unplugging but if they get struck a bust TV is likely to be the least of your problems.

I've never bothered.

To be fair to the police letting rip with a shotgun at somebody if unjustified is murder if you kill them.  The legal question in the UK is whether appropriate force was used. If he was in fear of his life which may well have been the case then he was justified in shooting them. If they had turned and were running away he wasn't.

I own shotguns. I don't think I'd ever actually discharge one at somebody if I wasn't absolutely sure it was them or me. It would bugger up the carpet and walls for starters....

On the subject of TV's, my father was a hoarder of many things.  He repaired TVs for a living and so had amassed a significant number of televisions.  To cover all of them in the event of a storm would have taken longer than it would have taken for the storm to pass🤣🤣

I thought this one funny .

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/boris-johnson-turned-away-election-195531808.html

Boris forgot his photo ID and wasn't allowed to vote .

Surely most people know who he is , there can't be many Boris dopplegangers about ?

Can there ?
