Last week it was £97 million to Afghanistan, heaven knows if that money will get to the people who need it. Meanwhile back at the ranch, how are we Brits to pay for our energy price hikes ?
Gotta spend that aid budget somewhere I suppose. Heaven forbid we should say put it on hold till we are over our own problems.

Millions in aid to Afghanistan !!! What a laugh.. Doubt it will reach those who need it..
Our Live Aid concert many years back raised millions to help other countries.. Did all donations make it to those in need.. No they did not..
Meanwhile .. back in the Uk...
perhaps I am being unduly cynical, but I have a feeling that any aid that goes to Afghanistan will merely reinforce the Taliban's repulsive regime
