Scrumpy

Did a few errands this morning one of them popping into Tesco.. I haven't been in there for ages.. So much better than online shopping..
I went upstairs to the clothes selection.. Never been up there.. Always buy brand names and pay through the nose..
Trainers 18 pounds!!.. Jeans 22 pounds..!!... Surprise!!..They fitted..!! I usually pay 40/60 pounds for trainers and jeans the same.. I am a new woman !!
Also I bought Butternut Thai Curry plant based..  It tasted alright so I shall give them a try again.. They are low calorie... Called BOL.
I will look a new woman in my 18 pound trainers and 20 pounds jeans...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

" Butternut Thai Curry plant based.. "  could be dangerous Scrumpy, eat it when you're on yer own

I want to eat healthily..
I have two more chocolates in box bought for me at Christmas.. I would have chucked them but they were luxury.. After these are gone.. I am going for it..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Good luck with that lass. On the selfish side, I now weigh (triumphantly) 87 kilos! so I can stop with the cream cakes, steak slices and fattening foods! Though that might not be as easy as sayin' it..

87 kilos - that's 13 stone 10 in proper money - three pounds heavier than me

Yes. I've always exceeded my targets  .. and my scales might be a wee bit off.. but I do have a bit of a paunch returning so it's mostly good news.. 'Feel better too which is a stronger clue.

Good for you Scrumpy, so long as the clothes are a good fit and look good why pay a fortune for "names".  I love bargains too.  I am amazed you still have chocs from Christmas, ours are long gone!

Maybe we should take a look at Tesco.  Since shielding I have hardly been to the shops and was desperate for clothes so we went to the huge M&S in a nearby Designer Village.  Paul went off to the menswear and I was still looking through the dire ladies clothes when he came and found me.  Neither of us bought anything there.

We went off to our local Matalan and Paul found some trousers but I couldn't see anything.

I bought two tops in Sainsbury's the other day. We haven't a big Tesco nearby, I used to occasionally buy clothes in Asda, but not seen anything there recently.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

My favourite fleece is from Tui, I think that is Sainsburys.  I bought it years ago from the charity shop where I used to volunteer.  I don't look closely in case it needs to go in the bin but I still like it.

I have said many times M & S have lost it, I was one of their best shoppers for years but no more, they are trying to attract young people but not really trendy enough although too trendy for older people and inferior fabrics  at high prices.  The mens department is full of chinos, jeans and suit trousers, my husband wants smart casual trousers of a winter weight, no chance.  And add to that their website is dreadful.  Lucky I am OK for clothes at the moment.

I don't like the clothes in M&S much..  Though a dress on the sale rail caught my eye as I was passing by.. I slipped it on over my clothes.. It fitted.!!
The arms were too long , as was the length.. Took many inches off the length.. Took the arms in and altered the length of them.. BUT..
IT FITTED ..!!

I bought a long sleeve T shirt in Sainsburys yesterday, only a fiver and really nice cotton.  Morrisons do some good clothes too, I've got a cardigan from there.  Has anyone got an M&Co nearby ?  they have some good clothes, a bit like BHS...
