UEFA turned down requests from three British clubs to allow the national anthem to be played ahead of this week's Champions League fixtures on UK soil. After a minute's silence impeccably observed at Ibrox, the fans sang the national anthem. Well done the Gers !

what the hell has it got to do with EUFA? Well done the fans.

I'm guessing they classed it as political. There was some other hoo haa a while back but I can't recall what it was.
A crowd will decide what it will do.. Well done to them..
It should have been at Anfield, the crowd would have been booing.
The crowd at Anfield held the minute's silence on Tuesday, with only one or two voices spoiling it for others . They were immediately "hushed" thanks to the nearby supporters.
