Title: Thumbs up to Glasgow Rangers
Post by: Alex on September 15, 2022, 11:22:30 PM
UEFA turned down requests from three British clubs to allow the national anthem to be played ahead of this week's Champions League fixtures on UK soil.  After a minute's silence impeccably observed at Ibrox, the fans sang the national anthem.  Well done the Gers !

The crowd at Anfield held the minute's silence on Tuesday, with only one or two voices spoiling it for others . They were immediately "hushed" thanks to the nearby supporters.
