Victoria married a Spaniard in Spain, where ladies don't change their name, which to my mind is better

I had an unusual surname which was open to micky taking and jokes, I was very happy to marry and ditch it.

My mum's friend Sybil married Jack Dibble, and retained her maiden name.

when my wife was being clever [frequently] i called her by her maiden name, which really annoyed her because she frequently wished she has stayed a Miss... :rofl: in fact we both did.... but making up made up for it.....usually..but not always...

funnily enough its about thirty years since we parted but she has retained my name... :smiley:

I know my first didn't - but no idea where she might be now - nor do I care
