I managed to patch the forum code to stop it from sending emails every time a PM gets sent which had the potential to get all outgoing emails on my account blocked foe exceeding (unspecified) limits.
Feel free to use the feature as you wish. When you have a message you'll see a number next the the Messages link on the main set of navigation links at the top of the forum.

Not clever enough to get the forum to use its own mail server. Well actually I was then found that google and probably others block my IP from sending mail. Athough it is a fixed IP it apparently isn't authorised :sad: Anti spamming measure.
