Great British Railways

A new HQ is to be established for Great British Railways, it can be anywhere in UK
GBR will own the infrastructure, receive the fare revenue, run and plan the network and set most fares and timetables.   Where would be the best place for the new HQ  -  Assuming it hasn't already been decided, old cynic that I am  :grin:

Now I know where that is without having to Google  :grin:

My guess would be not far from wherever all that crap is done currently to avoid paying a fortune in relocation. As an alternative guess Mumbai.

My guess would Stoke on Trent which is an equal distance from many cities in the North.

In the future,  we will be sitting on the roof and holding onto the sides of trains Mumbai style the way our population is growing.
