Anyway I use NFC on my phone & I don't think contactless is used at pumps.

Tesco say their pumps won't accept contactless.

All to save a couple of minutes in a kiosk.

Everything these days is to make your life more difficult.  I would never put my card in a petrol pump especially after what you guys have said about the £120.  

The latest thing is Ceridigion is car parks only take card payments no cash, I certainly wouldn't chance that either after some of the problems I have had in the past with those machines.

have to agree - it really does seem as though everyone seems to want to think that life should be as complicated as possible for the average Joe on the street

According to my lad they don't actually take out the £120 from your debit card.  I've been on my bank this afo and in the "pending" payments it says Morrisons 29.70.  So that's all that was taken, it's an odd amount as I was getting flustered.   It was  still my first and last time
