Title: Who the hell cares?

HENRY DEEDES watches Rishi get the better of Keir at PMQs AGAIN

For a man languishing so far behind in the polls, Rishi Sunak should, by rights, be a political corpse by now - a weeping, bloody wreck held together by masking tape and a few dabs of Pritt Stick.

Instead there is something almost annoyingly chipper about him - a spring-footed, celery juice-fuelled figure of vigour who radiates health spa wellness and Alpine-fresh zing.

Arriving at PMQs today, he waltzed into the chamber bang on midday, one hand casually in his pocket, the other clutching a ring binder, smiling, nodding, winking, all carefree and nonchalant.

He reminded me of one of those preppy-looking jocks you see pictured on the cover of glossy brochures trying to entice students to universities you never knew existed – 'University of Swindon: Advancing knowledge, transforming minds' etc.

Yeah bang on Rishi. You made the prat look a prat. Trouble is unless you start fixing the stuff your party has horlixed to the point where virtually no public service is working it's you that's going to look the real prat come the next election.

TALKING THE TALK IS FAR SHORT OF ACTUALLY WALKING THE WALK

He doesn't care, why should he ?   He fulfilled his dream to be PM it doesn't matter now if he is kicked out come election time.  His name is up on the wall along with Churchill and the others......

What I'm wondering is could he actually be worse. This shower have wrecked both the economy and by continuing with the open doors immigration that started with Bliar they have changed the country I was born into beyond recognition.

That bill in parliament about the ECHR was defeated today, with Labour all voting against AND many Tories including Fishy Rishy !

I don't understand, surely it's a way out. Why would anyone vote against it.  :hmm:

(1) Virtue signalling - misguided
(2) Too stupid to understand the problem
(3) Hang on, I'm a human rights lawyer

I think we know who the enemy is now.

I reckon you are right - and in my view those who voted not to leave the bloody organisation are enemies of this country.

It wasn't even about leaving anything. It was just that we should ignore the Rwanda ruling.

I think the votes cast display the same sentiment. The answer is to make our courts higher than the ECHR or any other foreign courts,
