The first one's a Piel is it not?

Dunno. I just searched mobility scooter pictures and for the second smart car. There are so many variations of either that you'd best just take thenm as generic pics.

Obviously the mobility scooter one was just the most amusing one I saw in a brief look.

Absolutely and here she is a super little car too from the day I picked her up. I'd have another one tomorrow with pleasure. It was a real miracle worker when I lived in the City.

Quite right, but I reserve the 'old beast' here for our days out!

Same place as always by 'bodily' concealment. I get the overall picture though?

Funnily enough Mike, I bought it from a Jag dealer in California unseen in '98 and shipped it back here. I was principally interested because it had an auto gearbox and power steering had been added for a lady owner. They're a heavy car to steer and manoeuvre without. To me the most beautiful of John Lyon's creations and superior therefore to even the 'E' type.

I've had a remote control electric handbrake conversion as well as similar controls for the drivers seat, lights and had air con installed. It was cheap even 20 years ago in Fresno California and rustless having seen hardly no wet in it's then 40 years of existence. Through contacts here and being in no rush before retirement it took nearly 15 years to completely restore floor up. It is now a real head turner having gone back to the country of its roots where it's 'left hooker' set up is of course the norm. Needless to say in the present road conditions (snow), its up on stands in the garage until the weather improves. It compliments 'Lucille' and for my readers, has an upholstered concealed compartment within for valuables, but where of course we pack our guns and ammo!
