This is Angela Morabito who came 2nd in the Womens 500 Freestyle, behind transgender swimmer Lia Thomas.  What I don't understand is why there has been no outcry from WOMEN  :waiting:  (Thomas ranked number 462 as a male swimmer, but now ranks number 1 as a female swimmer)

I fully support that view Alex. This should never be allowed. They need two new classes for transgenders if they are going to persist with allowing them to compete.

crabbyob

on the other hand i believe they are very popular in prisions

Are there enough trans genders to warrant their own category though ?  I doubt it.

One funny comment was from a woman who sounded British,
the pro trans ' person' was having a go at her when she replied "I'm not a vet but I know what as dog is "

Jacqueline

Who cares if there isn't enough of them for a category, they can swim on their bloody own!!!! Woman shouldn't have to compete against men in  women's sport.

I'm pretty much certain that there aren't. Tough.

That's because it is a bloke with long hair.

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I think the swimmer had his meat and two veg removed.

I read a story on this person some time back and there are rules on testosterone levels permitted before they can compete. The problem is that even with testosterone levels way below male normal because they went through puberty as a male there are lasting bodily changes that mean they can never compete fairly with women.

The only fair solution imo is a lifetime ban on competition with individuals who went through puberty as females.
