Title: something unusual
Post by: Michael Rolls on June 26, 2022, 03:16:38 PM
Driving through the village at about 1020 I was surprised to see an animal on the little green where the war memorial stands. It was a fox - and not a normal one, but virtually a black fox - to be fair, I suppose a very, very, very dark brown. No white blaze. Not a dog, nor a large cat - ears and brush were unmistakable. It's the first time that I have seen a fox in daylight up here apart from on a couple of occasions in rural spots. Only wish I could have taken a picture.

How lovely, very rare sight too it seems.
