I could win the Lottery and live in a place of my choice..
The change in this country is moving at great speed..
All of a sudden I don't recognise it any more..
What was once familiar to me is becoming less so..

I am sitting here trying to work out where I would move to.. I'm not getting anywhere at the moment..
Scrumpy, I wish I knew where to go too, I think most places in this country have gone downhill, like you places I don't recognise as my country anymore and would be scared to walk down the street after dark, or some even in daylight. That includes poor old Rayners Lane and Harrow where I was born and brought up, dodgy looking foreigners on street corners, foreign shops, no pubs anymore, terrible places but they used to be lovely when I was young.
If money was no object I'd plump for Italy
Woodside takes a lot of beating!

So does the North Coast. 🌊

We are both quite happy where we are on The Wirral. Our neighbours are good and we are within reach of the sea. We moved here as a temporary measure to look after my mum about 30 years ago!
Ideally we would move to New Brighton to have easier access to walks along the prom with its beautiful sunrises and sunsets but it is only a 15 minute drive from where we are.
Italy is up there for me too... I need to be where there are many people.. Just to watch..
.. Old cobbled streets... but no hills..
Other than that I would choose an apartment overlooking Sydney Harbour..

I'm in a lovely, rural part of Cheshire today, watching horses in the field next door. Saw a couple of rabbits at the far end of the garden earlier. It's like a mini holiday for us. OH has been out on the sit on mower, a novelty for us with our tiny garden.
I'd love a second home somewhere near the front at Broughty Ferry(Tayside). Close enough to the city where OHs family live, and where I grew up. Far enough away from it to avoid all the issues that are blighting parts of the UK. I've no wish to leave the UK, I do however feel sorry for those with little or no choice in where they live, and who are struggling.
I wish... I wish we could retire amd move to the seaside!
Oh wait! We have! One month here and loving it :yay:
Well done -Oy- you have cracked it..
