I was going to take a microwave to the tip..
My mate told me that I have to show official identification  before being allowed in.. This is to stop others not of this council area..
I put it outside my gate instead.. Someone got a good microwave for nothing..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Good idea.
Next time we have something which is too big for us to take to the dump, and which the council would charge an arm and a leg to take away, I shall put it at the bottom of our drive with an appropriate note:

"Fully working, but no longer needed.  Please help yourself."

If no-one else, the Pikeys will have it.

We get a touring scrap van. I've put stuff out and it is usually gone quite quickly.

I put books out.. and any furniture.. Things don't  stay out there very long..
I had a Henry hoover.. I put it on the Next Door site.. A lady from the next street asked for it.. She was over the moon and bought me some chocolates..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
