Quote from: Raven on Yesterday at 05:41:07 PMBloody Hell 😲 I had no idea the Scunners charged that sort of money. Bloody Greed, how to they sleep at night.
It's shocking, isn't it Raven.
The world is becoming rapidly more greedy.

I've got to take Liffey into the Vet's tomorrow for a blood test.  More money.
The bloods will be somewhere between £90 - £100,  and that's without the £50 consultation fee!

A handsome señor from Madrid
Was down to a couple of quid
Could he sell his body
Though it was a tad shoddy
And would the young ladies bid?

People kill for money here too .
Shooting be it peasants or deer is a very expensive sport costing thousands per day  .
Deer I can understand if it is done humanely for culling purposes and the meat can be eaten .
Peasants which are dozy birds are hand reared to be killed as living targets .
However these gross Americans trophy hunters are the ultimate scum .
But these canned safaris are a very lucrative business .
I agree.
In short, killing for food is perhaps acceptable, assuming it isn't just for trendy expensive food which is often sold simply because of its name.
Killing for so-called 'sport', like the upper classes seem to do on their 'shoots' is in my view unacceptable.  Similarly, shooting animals simply to obtain an attractive severed head on the wall, again usually the upper classes.

Probably nobody on here has heard of this person, no football fans here, apart from Cassandra.  I'm going to post it anyway.....This young man was killed today in a car crash in Spain, he was on his way to catch a ferry back to England, back to Liverpool he didn't make it.   He was 28 years old, he got married 10 days ago to his long time girl friend and they have three young children together.   Also killed was his 26 year old brother.

I can't imagine how his parents feel losing both sons, or his young wife.   Life can be so cruel.

Yes, they are.   Those businesses that sell the trips are every bit as guilty as the people who buy them.  I've even seen men taking their kids along to see how clever their father is.  Doesn't that show they are not fit to be parents?
It's all about money, money, money as usual.
But there again,  why is it still legal in the first place?

I have read in the past that these animals are often in a large fenced area too,  so they don't stand a chance of escaping.   How can anyone feel proud  of that?

I agree with Raven,  I would love to see these evil sods used as bait,  and let the animals enjoy a feast for a change.
