Have started to dig my first tunnel (every hidey hole starts with the first shovel load) to help local Hamas supporters protect themselves.  Crumbs, cement has gone up in price lately, but it's a necessary capital investment I guess.

On my way home through Crumpsall, I also managed a surreptitious shaking of my fist at a couple of Jewish children.  Gotta start somewhere.

Moaning can become a fulfilling hobby. Certainly many millions of the British population avidly participate. We should thank our government for providing so much material which supports the national hobby

I think allowing or blocking notifications would be done at the browser level.

Here are some instructions for Edge

Quote from: klondike on Yesterday at 05:25:06 PMCan't argue with that but..Does not follow.
If you fail to vote you have no right to criticise the outcome of the election which will surely be a further decline in this once proud land.

If your choice wins and forms a government which will obviously prove useless then you can both complain and remove them from your list of those you will vote for ever again.

If your choice loses then you can have the nice warm feeling of not being responsible and having made an effort to avert the inevitable mess that follows.

Admittedly this means that eventually you will never vote Labour nor Conservative as they are the only parties that get elected. Of course the LibDems did enter into a coalition but that was a bit of a disaster for them as was alienating over half the electorate in a later one.

No sir it is your democratic right to vote and I would go so far as to say your duty too. Despite the utter futility of doing so.

I won't vote because I no longer care, it no longer matters to me who is in power, but I will still moan because I am paying my various taxes for services that neither party cannot or won't provide.

Quote from: klondike on Yesterday at 10:05:16 PMI don't use Facebook but I can say with confidence that to get an answer to just about anything Google is your friend.

Of course getting a solution might be a bit trickier
Thanks anyway.
If I open Facebook in Chrome, the notifications come up properly, so it might be a problem with Edge.
