Title: What's the difference
Post by: Alex on July 02, 2022, 12:07:49 PM
I'm probably being thick here   but I  don't understand the difference between mcg and μg this is in relation to vitamin dosage. I take B12 which shows 500 μg on the tub, but on line any info about vitamin B12 gives dosage in mcg.  Can you help me out folks  ?

they are the same - one millionth of a gram. The funny Greek symbol is the international symbol, but mcg is more normally used in the UK and USA.
