I've just started the day with a smile. During a two hour traffic jam on the M56, people queued to buy ice cream from a van stuck in the middle lane. Some stickler would probably say it was illegal but so what.
Makes it all the more enjoyable!

Closing a motorway for two hours and seriously inconveniencing thousands of people to catch an escaped prisoner seems to me to be overkill unless he is extremely dangerous. If he is extremely dangerous then it begs the question of how was he allowed to escape.
Around here they use a police helicopter costing an absolute fortune to try to guide other police on bikes to kids riding dirt bikes in fields.
Despite these costly valiant attempts at crime prevention vehicle theft or burglary just results in you getting a crime number for your insurance.
