I'm Scottish, OHs family (English) moved there 70+ years ago, his younger siblings stayed.  Thankfully they're not driven by the chip on shoulder hype that England robs Scotland and they'd do better as an independent nation.

The SNP have imposed higher taxes but their NHS appears to be no better for it.  They also have the highest incidence of drug related deaths in Europe.  I'm not sure what, if anything, the SNP have achieved.

True.  Only one of many things which she has done during her term in office which has damaged this country.
Another was to sack half of the police, including many of our most experienced, for some reason best known only to herself, and we can all see now the consequences of that action.

It has contributed to the problems we see in Londonistan today, where the Metropolitan Police under Khan have chosen to be completely ineffective, and possibly encouraging of the naive protestors under the control of their leaders-in-secret.

They started years ago..  We fear them.. and that makes them powerful..
They will think nothing of blowing up areas that do not conform to their ways..

Quote from: Scrumpy on Yesterday at 12:51:22 PMI have been thinking about Boris.. What a bloody twerp..
He could have done so much.. The voters liked him.. He had a certain amount of charisma.. It all went downhill when he started acting the idiot.. he seemed to think that his job was to act the fool..
What a waste of talent.. So sad..

Wasn't it him who brought in the water cannons when he was London Mayor !!
They should have been put into operation..
Yes, Boris brought them in.  Guess who removed them?

If there is any doubt, I can say that it was Mayor Khan who, in 1988, sold the ones we still had in order to "invest in projects to tackle the root causes of serious violent crime".
I think we all know what happened since then, and under the tenure of Mr Khan.

Unfortunately, we seem to have leaders ('rulers') who feel there is no need for them, especially when the same people are happy to encourage mass protests in our capital and have, I assume, instructed our police to do nothing to control them and protect the innocent.  Our government is wishy-washy; the next one will be worse; and it seems that the majority of Londoners want to retain Khan as their elected 'caliph'.

Quote from: Diasi on Yesterday at 12:14:58 PMNot only that, it's as Anjem Choudary says, it's the duty of all Islamists to convert all countries to Islam by either persuasion or brute force.

He said that it won't take very long for them to convert the UK once they start.

Of course that assumes that the non-Muslim majority don't decide to wipe out the Muslim minority before they become the majority.

I believe he is perfectly correct.

He can see that the country is divided in many ways, not least the people who would run the country all being in favour of whatever they can get for themselves, at least under our two-party system.
No-one in authority is interested in doing anything to improve matters for us, the indigenous and majority British, but only for themselves.

It appears that most of us seem happy to support the people who run the country, be it the two main political parties, the Civil Service, or the House of Frauds.

One day, I hope, the majority of people will find the backbone to elect a new political party which is not part of the existing political system and which will hopefully support us, the legitimate British people
