It's broken promises that annoy me. Triple lock? Elderly care sorted out? Probably others. Border in the Irish sea. Fishing fiasco. Plus the hypocrisy of setting a load of covid rules, ignoring them then lying about it.

People, rightly or wrongly, judge governments by the state of the economy.
I forsee the possibility of a one term Boris government (if he survives the covid fines, council elections meltdown and plummeting poll ratings). Followed by, heaven help us, a Starmer government, changed party rules, Starmer deposed as leader and a Marxist PM.

What will labour do? instead of first raising our pensions, an amnesty for all the illegals, dinghy boys and probably on previous form, send P & O over for the rest.  I don't like the Tories but heaven help us if Labour become the Government i.e. Tony Blair, Gordon Brown.

Alex

The thought of a Labour government worries me, so it's the best of a bad bunch for me come election time.
