Politics / Re: New Tory recruit?

Quote from: Diasi on Today at 09:34:59 AMIf you play any video clip in ultra slo-mo it's amazing the number of facial expressions in just a few seconds.

Jacob Rees-Mogg has mastered the art of keeping a fixed facial expression that vastly reduces the chances of such split-second images being found.

I regard Jacob Rees-Mogg as the Tory equivalent of Labour's Frank Field.

Far too intelligent & far-sighted to ever have their ideas acted upon.

I also realise that my Reform vote will be nothing more than a sop to my conscience.

Well mine (cast from over here) joins yours and millions more. I would never vote Tory again and couldn't bring myself to support Labour and Starmer - the EU rejoiners! So its either stay at home, or help to rid the country of the 'Lib-Dems in drag party, by cutting all flesh away from the caucus and watching it exsanguinate.

Quote from: Cassandra on Today at 02:56:05 PMThankfully I was born in '45. You should be OK, but each year from now on will be downhill, with a marked decline in policing, legal and social standards as the structure of the UK shifts East demographically.
Thank you.  Of course I hope for the best for all of us aged people.  The youngsters still have the option of re-setting their brains and opinions!

General Discussion / Re: Are EVs Becoming Less Popu...
Last post by Cassandra - Today at 03:42:29 PM
The callous mob methods of the Globalists apply. The manufacturers are being compelled to produce them solely by 2035, (2030 a la Starmer). By a range of interlinked international legal consequences for NOT resorting to market force demands they have to produce these hideous, substandard creations. The builders face bankruptcy at present so they are fully on board to support green backed lies. Thats how 'TeamWorld' works.

EV's are unsafe, have no established trade in value, except reliably zero, weigh in obesely, have piss-poor range achievement and without monstrous subsidy, very little market penetration in the private sector. An 'expert' on GB news said the other day that sales were up 20%, year on year. How these people (Quentin Wilson is another one) can bend reality in this way, without challenge is yet another example of 'false news'.

Unsold cars are piling up world-wide, compounding the oncoming Economic epoch.

Quote from: JBR on Today at 11:21:13 AMOf course.

I consider myself very lucky.  Born in 1952, I missed the war.  The 1960s were, apparently, swinging.  We stupidly handed the country to the EU, but pretty soon afterward we reclaimed at least some of what we owned.  Aged 72 this year, I shall hopefully be gone before the muslim conquest of England.

It could have been worse.

Thankfully I was born in '45. You should be OK, but each year from now on will be downhill, with a marked decline in policing, legal and social standards as the structure of the UK shifts East demographically.

Ah yes.  Thank you.  I'd forgotten about that thread (you'd need a whole graveyard).

Poor Carol.  If she'd left her backside alone she'd still be rather attractive.

Quote from: JBR on Today at 09:44:09 AMI remember not so long ago, that TV woman, the one who was a maths genius (I can't remember her name) had an enormous arse enlargement, to the extent that she looked completely overbalanced.

For some reason, she now seems to have disappeared from our screens.

Quote from: Scrumpy on Today at 11:46:16 AMSam was a fire fighter he and his crew dreaded going to the local pikey camp.. They would throw bricks at the fire fighters.. They had fires going most of time.. burning cars..
When the bells went down and it was known to be the pikey camp Sam would tell the boys  'No rush'
I certainly wouldn't rub them up the wrong way.. They are very powerful people and they all stick together..
This, and other comments, paint a picture of a danger existing freely in this country.
If we had a strong leadership, and strong people willing to support it, this problem should be dealt with without pulling any punches.

Obviously, they are here in numbers, so we should deal with them in numbers.

Perhaps not the ideal parallel, but can you imagine these Pikeys behaving as they do, or even existing, in Nazi Germany or Russia, China, or several other countries... even in the US?

In fact, the UK is probably their ideal stomping ground, for obvious reasons.
