And most of them will be lucky to get a tent.

My point exactly.. There will be dinghies floating on that puddle of water any day soon.. 
Where there is water.. however deep.. they will arrive and take over the accommodation..

This is ironic and I'm sure I've posted about this before, but in 2016 or thereabouts I remember seeing tents along the bank of the river that runs next to the Bundestag building in Berlin.  I wondered to myself if Merkel looked out of her window and saw them, and if she ever realised what her actions had meant for the whole of Europe.
