So, the country do not accept gays.. ..  So what.. !
If that is their law and that is how they live .. accept it..
No alcohol..! .. accept it..  Cheap labour !! .. accept it..
Most countries have rules that someone somewhere will moan about..
If the fans misbehave , I hope they don't expect their own country to waste time in helping them..

There are many backhanders at most events..
Backhanders are rife in the commons and the royals..

Have to fully agree with your post. It's exactly my feelings as well.

Very dodgy giving Quatar the World Cup, but then FIFA is a dodgy organisation.  Those in charge knew about the alcohol ban AND how women would be expected to cover up, plus the gay issue.   
I can understand how people feel when the likes of Beckham, Gary Neville and Saint Lineker stand on their pulpits preaching about human rights and the next day catch a flight out to Quatar with a million pounds safely in their banks.  Talk about hypocrites  !

I couldn't care less about the football, but as Alex says, it's the hypocrisy of those who have taken the knee for BLM and bang on about slavery 200 years ago, but are happy to go there and take the money in a country that has modern day slaves, poor human rights etc. these people really are the pits.

If it is distasteful to the fans then I suggest they stay away..
The same applies to the commentators who like to voice their opinions but enjoy the millions they (make)..
 David Beckam will go anywhere if the price tag is right..
 I doubt any of the above care enough to boycott the games..
