I had to add some stuff to the Cloudflare DNS to prove domain ownership for the mail I'm now using here instead of Gmail (still limited traffic though). I'd left the tab open and was just tidying up the rather large number of open tabs and when got to it I saw a link to Web Traffic. I did put google analytics on briefly but didn't like swathe of tracking cookies that adds so binned it off again. Anyway curiosity struck and I looked. It was a map that hit me first.

Actually I think I have sussed it.
Because the site has been moved dear old googlebot (or actually googlebots) have been hard at work deciding just what adverts you might click on based to your answers in the word games (well ok probably not but indexing them anyway). I decided to exclude bots from visible visitor stats on the site so there won't be so many "guests" as you see on PF and of those some will be bots that the forumcode doesn't recognise as bots or bots that cunningly disguise the fact that they are bots. I reckon the bots are maybe run from French servers.
I'd put our bots above those Frenchie bots anytime. :moon: :moon: :moon:
I'll look again at the Cloudflare stats again tomorrow. I can't be bothered to go digging in the access logs and I've not set anything up on the new server to help with that chore yet.
