Well, he's done his time but now what? Do you think he's a marked man. If I were him I'd be very very nervous.  [1150]  [2010]

Goodness gracious.. I haven't given him a thought for many years..
He was good in his day.. I remember the platform heels and the invite to join his gang..
 Dirty old sod..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I'd be very surprised & disappointed if he doesn't have some very strict conditions attached to his release.

I don't know how he could walk in them, never mind prance about the stage singing.

I've never tried platforms. I did have some cuban heeled boots back in the day.

As a child I did try quite low stilts once and found them to be impossible. I have no clue how the old circus stilt walkers ever managed.

Just remembered a childhood craze which I didn't try either. Tin cans pulled up to the shoes with string to make tiny stilts/platforms

I saw a parade in Disney some years back.. Everyone was walking on stilts.. It was wonderful.. They were as expert at walking as those at ground level..

He'll be released on licence and closely monitored I guess. But why on earth doesn't 16 years MEAN 16 years  ?

Good conduct remission, plus of course those famed psychiatric reports - which really mean, we're skint can't build the prisons the swelling 'poopulation' demands,  therefore no places in clink. Result, get the 'buggers' out fast, no matter what results!

Odds are he'll repeat offend at sometime. It's a brain condition, may be a frontal lobotomy would be a better way to protect little children from him and the like?

Frontal lobotomy's are extinct now..
In  One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest the film ended with Jack Nicholson having  one..  Great film..

Two house bricks would solve the problem.
The problem with being retired is that you never get a day off

Ooh you are rough, that nice bossman Mr Hunt would never agree with such an unkind act to someone who's paid the right price for his crimes and just wants to live quietly with his millions ...
