Very overcast here, think we're about to get wet.

I stopped going to the Hair Salon as last time I went to get my highlights done it was over £100, just too much as they needed doing several times a year. My hair was only just past my shoulders then, I hate to think what it would cost now with the length it is.
A friend who is a mobile hairdresser comes to the house when I'm down in Perth for a coffee and a catch up, she only trims my hair about a couple of inches. She takes a fiver, a latte, and a cream cake.

Even after 50+ years in Yorkshire I still pronounce the letter 'R'.  A bit of a giveaway to my roots.  😁

My hairdresser is a small, one woman business.  She put her prices up reluctantly this year, first time for ages.  I have a shampoo, cut and blow dry, and I still tip her.  She cuts really well, and it would probably cost me double in a posh salon.

Bill is really skint so he's thumbing for a ride
He's hoping to get a lift as far as Firth of Clyde
