I know this might sound stupid to some but I will ask anyway..
Do I need to protect my car tyres from the scorching sun.. ?
The car sits in my drive and has the sun on it for most of the day..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

They get a lot hotter than that when doing 70mph on the motorway!

My car doesn't visit the motorway.. She's far too nervous of them big lorries..   :worried:

I thought that DIRECT  strong sunlight could cause them damage..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I doubt if you need to protect modern tyres from the sun in England.

the Caravan Club and others associated with motorhomes, etc., advise not to keep tyres, regardless of mileage, for more than 7 years. First thing I did when we bought our second motor home was to have the tyres checked and as one of them was about ten years old, even though it looked OK, I had them all changed - better safe than sorry.
