Title: wriggling again
Post by: alfred on January 31, 2022, 05:04:22 PM
It was interesting to see Boris wriggling like a worm as he continuously kept referring to waiting for the full, report,  that seemed to be his only answer
in answering all the difficult questions,  that was thrown at him,

no doubt if he sees the report first  i wonder will he try to doctor it  as i think he is useless.  but i  would like to see Terresa may back in the chair as she is more of prime minister than Boris would ever be ,

lets hope they get rid of Boris and soon,  and even his side kick the chancellor who is  hell bent on ripping off the pensioner's, and any one poorer,  so that the rich families that  he is a member of, can make even more money,  and as a result of spending billions of pounds wasted , and so he passes the cost onto the poorer classes to  pay for his blundering ,  so much for the tories a so called caring party ????????

The papers suggest he was getting a handbagging from his predecessor. Perhaps she thinks she's in with a chance

I wouldn't vote for her either, tbh I don't know who I'd want as PM, apart from Maggie Thatcher and that's not likely

i wonder if Boris went, who could take his place and i don't know who is capable,  thats why i thought of Teressa may,

Q; if not then who do you think of as  the next prime minister ????

There are always favourites and it's rarely those who win. With the Tories it's almost always some dark horse nobody expected - May herself slipped in by chance.

Penny Mordaunt has been mentioned too, at least she was a Brexiteer.

Theresa May seems to be making a lot of noise - surely not? Hasn't she already done enough damage?

Marvelous how people.. once they have been booted out.. have SOMETHING to say..
Dominic Cummings being a prime example..

Boris has behaved like a 'Hooray Henry'.. he needs to grow up and remember that his schooldays are long gone.. As he will be, very soon.
I just hope that whoever takes over is a Brexiteer..

Quite right scrumpy,

and lets hope that who ever takes over gets to grip with the country  it self,  and all  its problems , rather than this so called party which it seems is over riding every thing else,

So you reckon Boris really is doomed then?

I think a lot of the blame must be laid at the door of covid otherwise maybe the big faults with the Brexit deal (fishing and NI) would have been at least started on which hasn't happened so far - just arguments and capitulation in the main.

It wasn't covid to blame for eye wateringly costly moves towards Net Zero which, given the short shrift given to this aim by the big polluters, will impoverish us and do virtually nothing for global CO2 levels and were not mentioned anywhere in the manifesto sfaik.

Nor is covid to blame for lack of any progress in tackling the dinghy boys issue. If anything it slowed the invasion a little.
