I didn't vote either.. Fed up with the lot of them.. 
 
WOT ABOUT OUR POTHOLES !!!!

A few months ago a big machine came into our road.. It brought four big strong men with it.. They had shovels and heavy machinery..
They filled every pothole in our road.. Then banged it down with a big, big hammer..  It was interesting to watch..
How excited we were.. We were the chosen ones..
The potholes are staring to open up again..

It's another sloppily written piece of legislation that isn't fit for purpose.

Basically it allows a person, normally a householder in their own home for this thread, to use whatever force, including lethal force, they consider to be necessary at the time.

It also states that the person does not have to wait to be physically attacked before defending themselves, they're allowed to use force to prevent what they deem to be an impending attack.

That should be the end of it but then we have the police & the courts deciding & ruling on whether what we thought was reasonable.

Yes we both have for the last couple of days. I think they were fairer. The day before those you still got 9 iirc while I got 7 but neither of my fails were mistakes as such they were just a case of taking the wrong alternative solution. Sometimes I have seen that taking the words in a different order would have ruled out an alternative but I don't think that was the case the other day although I suppose it could have been. It still usually takes a lot of the luck out of the game and makes it more of a puzzle.

I don't vote, it only encourages them

First time in years we didn't vote.  Local elections here are Labour or Green.  We have a City Region Mayoral vote too, but the current incumbent, Labour, is at least trying to improve the regions public transport, including reopening Doncaster airport.  I don't think he had any competition. We'll see.
