I was chatting to a farmer the other day. He'd recently spent £16,500 on Black Angus bull.
He put him out with the herd but he just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow.
He was beginning to think he'd paid more for that bull than he was worth.
Anyway......he had the vet come and take a look at him.
The vet said the bull was very healthy, but possibly just a little young, so he gave the farmer some pills to feed him once per day.
The bull started to service the cows within two days....... all the cows!
He even broke through the fence and serviced all the neighboring farmer's cows then started over again.
I asked the farmer what was in the pills the vet gave him ...
He said he didn't know but they kind of tasted like peppermint.
This is definitely a "Don't try this at home". Especially not those vets' peppermints, they keep you awake for a week.
