It was a definite miscarriage of justice & some of the evidence against him, in my opinion, perverted the course of justice.

The prosecution, aided by so-called experts, alleged that Tony Martin deliberately fired as the two burglars were trying to leave his house.

However, the true facts, borne out by numerous local people & close friends, show that his house had only one room with lighting which was his bedroom & the only room he used.

As he came down the stairs in total darkness he would hear the burglars but most certainly could not have seen where they were or what they were doing & wouldn't have known whether he'd hit anyone or not.

That's just it though.  How could anyone be absolutely sure?

If several men broke into our home and started threatening us,  we are hardly likely to ask whether they mean it or not - especially if they have a weapon of some sort.

I am inclined to agree with Michael  (above),  this man was entitled to defend himself.

      

Our election was just for the Lincolnshire Police & Crime Commissioner, no council election.

We had a Reform candidate on this occasion so it was the first time I've been able to vote for Reform.

The Conservative candidate was elected, again.

WOT ABOUT OUR POTHOLES !!!!

A few months ago a big machine came into our road.. It brought four big strong men with it.. They had shovels and heavy machinery..
They filled every pothole in our road.. Then banged it down with a big, big hammer..  It was interesting to watch..
How excited we were.. We were the chosen ones..
The potholes are staring to open up again..

I was told recently, that the pothole men are told to do  temporary  botches on these endless potholes,  knowing full well it won't last,   because that way their firm get paid over and over again for doing the same job!

Our roads are too far gone now,  they would never be able to afford to do them properly, once and for all.

I didn't vote either.. Fed up with the lot of them..
