Speaking as a person who through marriage now has lovely muslim family members - I worry about this situation.
It's heart breaking for me, I now feel I no longer have a party I can get behind. The SNP has just hit the buffers IMO. I don't know anything about the 3 who were competing for the top job but I didn't like any of them. Did you see the look on Ash Regans's face when it was announced? She was furious, now Kate is leaving after being offered a demoted job, what a way to start.
I can no longer vote, I loathe the Tories, and the Red Tories, never liked the Lib Dems or the Greens so I'm out in the cold, and feeling bitter about it all.
