Three guesses !

I'm pleased Nazarin Zagari the Iranian/British woman has been released from Iran after trumped up 'spy' charges.    I watched clips of her press conference today, which I believe was over an hour long ?   Time to step down from the spotlight for a while I think, but eventually I can see Ms Zagari standing as a Labour MP.   First though, will she sue the Government ? after all it's taken 5 Foreign Secretaries to get her released - as she pointed out this morning.

She wasn't detained on spying charges, despite what the British press would like you to think, she was detained for her involvement in the training of Iranian journalists for several years prior to her detainment & which Boris Johnson stated, correctly, but which has been airbrushed away.

She committed criminal offences under Iranian law.

Back in the UK & she's shooting her mouth off again.

P.S. I'm pleased that you stated her nationality status correctly as Iranian British.

I didn't realise she had been arrested for 'training journalists' I thought she was a charity worker (allegedly)

I did some checking on her several years ago & internet searches indicated she was employed by an international news corporation (may have been Thompson Reuters) who were involved with Iranian journalists, before which she was employed by the arm of the BBC that was actively engaged in training Iranian journalists, which is an offence in Iran.

Zaghari-Ratcliffe worked for the BBC World Service Trust from February 2009 to October 2010,[7] then worked at the Thomson Reuters Foundation as a project coordinator before taking on the role of a project manager.

The trust was working to train BBC Persian News Service reporters in Iran, which was an offence in Iran.

When, however, the shit hit the fan, the BBC said that she was employed in that department as a training assistant & then downgraded her role to one of being a very junior bog-basic office clerk. A long way down the ladder from her role as a project manager with Thompson Reuters. Lol

The main point is that she wasn't a random holidaymaker who was detained, she'd been on the Iranian 'wanted' list for a quite a while.

Her CV shows that she was an international charity worker & rights activist before she went into the world of journalism.

Therefore it seems she's never been a stranger to sticking her nose into the internal affairs of other countries such as Muslim Women's Rights.

Excuse me, we did not put her in jail did we? it was Iran who did that, keeping a person in jail as a hostage is downright evil.  I had sympathy for her before but it has just gone out of the window after her interview, another bloody foreigner on the make. Why dosen't she sue Iran and have a go at them?

she knew the rules but thought 'Im english by marriage so they cant touch me,,,,wrong
