Earlier this week I drove past this under construction car park in Chester, but couldn't make out if the plants were real or not. If they were, how on earth would they get 'trimmed' ?

Yes Alex, they're 'Living walls'. Relatively new concept but I like 'em..

They've got one at M & S in Cheshire Oaks, but it's only one story high, this one looks 7 stories, hard to get a lawnmower up there . :yay:
I love a mystery.
Then how about who put the bomp in the bomp pah bomp pah bomp? Let alone the ram in the ram alama ding dong..?
They look beautiful.. and brighten up a dull building..
I tried to find out how they are maintained .. no luck with that..

Chester bus station also has a grass roof, but at least they could put sheep up there !

PS it's looking a bit brown these days.
I didn't realise that Alex although when I am on the shuttle bus from the railway station to the town centre I wouldn't think of looking up at the roof. I expect that photo was taken by a drone.
