Much has been written on social media today about the Tories.  It seems the majority of ordinary voters think the Tory party is dead and they will never vote for them again.  Many people are cancelling their membership and leaving in droves.  Radio phone ins the same this morning.  Time for Richard Tice to show his face.

Mordaunt has now withdrawn, What a bloody fix !

'ere less of the "Ordinary" some absolutely outstanding folk have been saying for some time now that the Tories are done for. Just check back on my posts

Well the careerist part of the conservative party has turned against the British people and even against its own volunteer members. Maybe the time for a new party that respects the people has come.

Just imagine if Boris took over as leader of Reform ?

I don't think Tice would like that!  I watched Tice on Talktv yesterday and he was very good.

Alex

I like him too Sheila, but I feel he needs some big names to get Reform Party really moving. :upvote:

Boris' policies don't match with the aims of Reform.

Reform : Control migration.  Boris : close to open borders
Reform : Forget net zero.  Boris : Net zero top priority
Reform : Low tax small goverenment. Boris :Mwoar berr phwoar yah
Reform : Remove surplus EU regulations. Boris : Mwoar berr phwoar yah
Reform : Sort out Brexit NI problem. Boris : Mwoar berr phwoar yah
Reform: Sort out Brexit fishing issues. Boris : Mwoar berr phwoar yah

I think everyone realises this Klondy, but when it came to Sunak and Boris, sometimes the Devil You Know......I'm probably on my own in thinking that too !

Boris was popular. Certainly I preferred him to May.
BUT
Several aspects of Brexit were badly bodged. We'd have been better with no deal than the variation of the May deal we ended up with. Maybe Boris felt no deal was too hard a sell.

IMO he was handed the premiership and big majority by Farage. OK there was covid but I still think there was a huge amount that could have been done that wasn't. Boris switched his attention (what little he can muster) to Net Zero no doubt to please his latest bed mate and finally wife.

Then came the lies. It wasn't the parties that got him it was the stupid denials that they happened and the final stupid denial that he knew nothing about the allegations about Pincher when plenty knew that he did. He will be found guilty of deliberately deceiving the house by the priviliges committee for the rather simple reason that he did. If he were made PM now he'd be forced to resign when that come along.

Too right I spent a wasted weekend phoning Party members for whom we didn't have an email address, so we could get it & ensure they were able to vote.

The problem as I see it with all these smaller parties is that they all want to be leader. Perhaps an electoral arrangement not to stand against each other would be best for the time being.

They'd be better off combining if they all have similar ideas. I can't see any getting a seat though anyway even given this mess. Not that that will stop me voting for anything other than the current shower.

Just wait, the money men will stop deliberately interfering & the media won't say a word against him.

Already the money men have reduced the cost of the UK's borrowing which'll make Sunak look good, same as they raised it to make Liz Russ look bad.
